Joyce Wu is a Taiwanese who were born in
Shanghai and currently still studying in Shanghai too.
She is interested in
Rock music, which led her to learn guitar at 8th grade, also she
likes photography, both photo shooting with a model, light, or just daily life shots.

For her future she is aiming to study in the field of fashion design in the
college time, and looking forward to get into the fashion industry.
Her body of work is relating
to the idea ‘self-identity’. Which is a process she found what kind of person she
really is and try to change herself in to that person but not hiding it.
She had been reached several different
fields like acrylic, graphite and also fashion design. She like to use black and
white more than other colors, or basically she would use black as the main color,
which she used to describe her personality. In those works she tried different
materials, like using paper to do a garment. She like to do the contrast between
black and other bright colors, which can help to describe her mood in the event:
I can see those “lights” even she is in her dark age.
